Kindergarten
The Kindergarten curriculum at Cardinal Shehan School is an all day program. A typical day in kindergarten consists of religion, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, and peace. The students also receive special area instruction in the following: physical education, music, art, and library. The goal of the program is to foster healthy self esteem, and to develop independence, self confidence, and a sense of security. We also encourage self control, tolerance and patience, and endeavor to promote respect for others and an appreciation of ethnic diversity. In order for students to be successful, parent involvement is crucial to their spiritual, academic, and social development. It is our goal at Cardinal Shehan School to provide an environment for your child that fosters love, prayer, and the element of fun.
