The fourth grade curriculum has so many wonderful attributes to offer this year. We’re excited about our theme for the year “Peace: Find it, Live it, Give it!” We encourage the students to find peace in their hearts, live with peace each and everyday, and give peace to those who will receive it.

 

The following information is provided to give you a brief overview of each subject and what your child will be learning for the first trimester.

 

Reading/Language Arts

*During the first trimester in Reading students will learn various genres such as plays and mysteries.  Language will consist of extended writing, and spelling will be integrated lessons with the Literature Themes.

Students are diligently striving to write in cursive using a thematic handwriting book centered on the Catholic Faith.
